Our car is made of basic household items, as in plastic straws, Gatorade caps, plastic water bottles, balloons, and duct tape. We put one if the balloons inside the other, and connected the straw to the balloons, and taped it to a empty roll of pipe tape. The roll is used to hold the straw in place while someone inflates the balloons. We hot glued the blue and purple straws (above) onto the plastic bottle, after being cut to size, to be used as axels. Skewers were placed inside the straws, and orange Gatorade caps were placed on the ends of the skewers, to be used as wheels. The empty roll is duct-taped to the water bottle, and a flag is taped to the side, written on it is the name of our car, The Beastly Gangster. After we're done building, we begin testing. Holding the car in our hands, we inflate it. After the balloon is inflated, we place the car on the ground, with a finger on the straw, so the air doesn't escape. After we level it, we release it, and watch it roll five meters.
